Job Summary
The RN supervises planning and provision of nursing care, directing and evaluating care provided by licensed nurses and other personnel. Responsible for nursing care directly provided and for the care provided by others under supervision; oversees education, assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation of patient care. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, and a current state nursing license with renewal per Board standards. BLS is required; ACLS is preferred. PICC line insertion certification and specialty certifications are recognized. Prior experience in long-term acute care/rehabilitation and potential exposure to critical care is preferred. Proficiency in reading/writing/speaking English and basic Microsoft Office skills are expected.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Must hold a current state license and must maintain license renewal in accordance with the standards of the State Board of Nursing
- BLS required
- ACLS preferred
- PICC Line Insertion Certification recognized
- Specialty Certification recognized
- Long term acute care and rehabilitation experience is preferred
- Critical Care experience is recommended
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English, as well as possess good verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
