Job Summary
Registered Nurse in the 7 West Surgical ICU providing bedside care and coordinating patient care per nursing process; administer medications/IV therapy; complete nursing assessments; develop, revise and document Plans of Care; educate patients and families; ensure accurate documentation across charts and flow sheets; collaborate with interdisciplinary team; ensure compliance with regulatory and safety policies; manage communication with physicians, case managers, and other care providers; uphold standards for patient safety and quality improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- 1 year acute inpatient hospital experience as a licensed RN in the United States
- Excellent communication skills (English)
- Knowledge of medical procedures and conditions and ability to perform duties including whole blood collection and apheresis procedures
- Commitment to excellence in patient care and customer service
- Ability to work independently
- Registered Nurse - RN (CA Board of Registered Nursing)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Healthcare Provider
