RN Clinical - 7 W Surgical ICU - Full Time 12 Hour Nights (Non-Exempt) (Union)

Registered Nurse in the Surgical ICU role provides therapeutic care following the nursing process, including comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation of interventions (medication and IV therapy), medication administration, and patient/family education. Maintains documentation across admissions, shifts, and changes in condition; develops and updates Plans of Care, collaborates with Case Manager for discharge planning, ensures safety and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, OSHA, universal protocols), participates in quality measures, and demonstrates ability to work within a multidisciplinary team in a high-acuity ICU environment. Qualifications include BSN with US RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS permissions; prior acute inpatient experience preferred. The position commands an hourly rate range of $44.00 to $95.00 with benefits considerations and union staffing, based in Los Angeles, CA.
