Job Summary
Registered Nurse in Surgical ICU (7W) providing therapeutic nursing care in a 12-hour day shift within a union-enabled, non-exempt unit. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process across admission, assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention (including medication and IV therapy), evaluation, and discharge planning; collaborate with interdisciplinary team; document thoroughly; uphold patient safety and regulatory standards (HIPAA, OSHA, JCAHO). Requires BSN, CA RN license, 1 year of acute inpatient hospital experience in the United States, BLS and ACLS certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- 1 year acute inpatient hospital experience as a licensed RN
- Registered Nurse - RN (CA Board of Registered Nursing)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Healthcare Provider
- Fire Life Safety Training (LA City)
