Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) in ICU (7E) with 12-hour day shifts. Provides therapeutic care, coordinates patient care and education, conducts nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, administration of medications and IV therapy, documentation, discharge planning, and collaboration with Case Manager and physicians. Requires BSN (or grandfathered), 1 year acute inpatient RN experience, ACLS/BLS, US licensed RN, strong communication, HIPAA/OSHA familiarity, and ability to work in a union environment. Location: Los Angeles, CA; Full-time days; 12-hour shifts; non-exempt; ICU specialization.
Required Qualifications
- Req Bachelor’s Degree Nursing Degree in Nursing (BSN) *Grandfathered from BSN if hired prior to 12/2019
- Req 1 year Acute inpatient hospital experience as RN in United States
- Req Must have excellent communication skills, including the ability to speak, read and write English proficiently.
- Req Knowledge of medical procedures and conditions and ability to understand, follow and successfully perform duties, including whole blood collection, and apheresis procedures, in accordance with administrative and clinical policies, regulations and procedures.
- Req Committed to excellence in patient care and customer service.
- Req Demonstrates ability to work independently with minimal direction and supervision.
