Job Summary
Registered Nurse in ICU (4S) at Keck Medicine of USC – Full Time night shift (12-hour) in a unionized environment. Utilizes the nursing process to provide therapeutic care, coordinates patient care and education for patients and families, administers medications and IV therapy, participates in discharge planning, ensures patient safety and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, OSHA, JCAHO), and supports complex care for medical-surgical and ICU patients. Requires a BSN, California RN license, Basic Life Support, ACLS, and at least 1 year of acute inpatient RN experience. Strong communication and teamwork skills essential; adheres to policies and procedures and participates in ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Registered Nurse license (CA)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Healthcare Provider
- 1 year acute inpatient hospital RN experience
- Excellent communication skills (English)
- Knowledge of medical procedures and ability to follow policies
