RN Clinical - 4 S ICU - Full Time 12 Hour Nights (Non-Exempt) (Union)

RN – Clinical role in ICU 4S with 12-hour night shifts (union). Applies the nursing process to deliver therapeutic patient care, coordinates patient care and education with patients and families, and adheres to standards, policies, and procedures. Responsibilities include conducting nursing assessments at admission and with changes in condition, forming diagnoses, developing and updating plans of care, administering medications and IV therapy, ensuring proper documentation, delegating tasks per scope of practice, patient advocacy, and maintaining regulatory readiness (HIPAA, OSHA, JCAHO). Coordinates discharge planning with case management and provides patient/family education. Requires BSN, 1 year acute inpatient RN experience, strong communication, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Knowledge of medical procedures, safety, and quality measures is expected; ACLS/BLS certifications are preferred with LA City Fire Life Safety training.
