Job Summary
RN Clinical - 4S ICU, Full Time, 12 Hour Day shifts in an acute inpatient hospital setting. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process to provide therapeutic patient care, coordinating patient care and education with patients and families, performing nursing assessments at admission/shift/change of condition, unit-based documentation and medication administration, planning and implementing care plans, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, OSHA, JCAHO), and contributing to discharge planning and multidisciplinary team interactions. Requires BSN (or grandfathered BSN per policy), at least 1 year of acute inpatient RN experience, ACLS/BLS, and CA RN licensure; capable of performing complex care in ICU settings and participating in professional development and specialty certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Req Bachelor’s Degree Nursing
- Req Nursing degree (BSN)
- Req 1 year Acute inpatient hospital experience as RN
- Req Excellent communication skills in English
- Req Knowledge of medical procedures and conditions
- Req Able to understand and perform duties including whole blood collection and apheresis procedures
- Req Commitment to patient care excellence
- Req Ability to work independently with minimal direction and supervision
- Req Licenses/Certifications: RN license, BLS, ACLS, Fire Life Safety Training (LA City) as applicable
- Req Preferred Specialty Certification
