Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical role in Hematology/Oncology/BMT setting. Delivers patient-centered care using the Nursing Process, including comprehensive assessments, care planning, medication/IV administration, and family education. Responsibilities include documenting care plans and outcomes, coordinating transfers and discharge planning with case management, ensuring policy/compliance with Joint Commission and HIPAA requirements, and providing expert nursing care across CNS/orthopedic-related perioperative and inpatient oncology populations. Requires BSN and current CA RN licensure; 1+ year acute inpatient US experience; strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to manage complex patient needs across 12-hour shifts in a union hospital environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school or equivalent
- Graduate from an accredited Certified Nursing Program
- Bachelor’s Degree Nursing (BSN)
- Registered Nurse - California (CA) license/current registration
- Minimum 1 year of acute inpatient hospital experience in the United States
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Healthcare Provider (preferred)
- Oncology/chemotherapy certification (preferred)
