Job Summary
Conduct psychiatric nursing assessments, gather behavioral health histories, and support providers in developing care plans. Assist with medication administration, monitor for side effects, and document patient responses. Coordinate diagnostic testing, referrals, and follow-up appointments while educating patients and families on symptom management and safety planning. Collaborate with therapists and care coordinators to respond to condition changes, support crisis intervention, and ensure safe transitions. Maintain competency in point-of-care testing, complete required training, and adhere to Trinity Health standards. Work in an outpatient behavioral health setting with occasional travel to satellites.
Required Qualifications
- Current or temporary RN license in ND or compact RN licensure
- Ongoing CPR certification
- Ongoing Point of Care certifications as required for the department
- RN program as evidenced by licensure
- One year or more of professional nursing experience
- Clinic experience
- Coding experience
- Computer use
- Trinity Community Clinics – draw and package lab tests
- Adequate vision, hearing, and communication abilities
- Flexibility, attentiveness, and strict compliance with confidentiality and regulatory standards
Desired Qualifications
- BSN preferred
- May include travel to satellites
