Job Summary
Prepare patients for surgery by performing diagnostic tests required by the surgeon and anesthesiologist, documenting past medical and surgical history, and reporting abnormal results. Also prepare patients for the cath lab and other hospital admissions. Maintain accurate records of current home medications and communicate effectively with surgeons, nurse practitioners, and anesthesia evaluators. Work in a fast-paced environment managing diverse patient needs, family visitors, and physician interactions. Requires current Alabama RN license, BSN preferred, and three years of varied clinical experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
- Current Alabama license
- BSN preferred
