Job Summary
Obtain and document the initial history of present illness, past medical history, and current medications prior to the physician seeing the patient. Implement and carry out the plan of care established by the physician through delegation or direct completion. Assist cardiologists and surgeons in the clinic, outreach, and hospital setting. Work 4-10 hour day shifts Monday through Friday with variable hours based on the MD schedule. Requires current RN licensure in South Dakota, Iowa, or Minnesota, plus BLS and ACLS certification. Two years of critical care experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a nursing program
- Current licensure of registered nursing in the states of South Dakota, Iowa, and Minnesota
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Two years of critical care experience
Desired Qualifications
- Two years of critical care experience is preferred
