Job Summary
Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practice. Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care while partnering with patients and families for education and goal setting. Coordinate interdisciplinary communication through rounds and case reviews, ensuring timely documentation and safe quality care delivery. Mentor and precept other nurses and staff to support workforce development. Participate in performance improvement activities, research utilization, and protocol development to reduce re-admissions and adverse events. Complete all mandatory education and competency assessments. Maintain licensure and certifications including RN and BLS. Minimum five years of direct patient care experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Minimum 5 years direct patient care nursing experience
- Ability to read, write and speak English language
