Job Summary
Assess patient needs and priorities, plan and delegate care, and execute therapeutic physician orders and nursing interventions. Evaluate patient response to care and progress toward expected outcomes while remaining accountable for all patient care delivered during the assigned shift. Requires current Alabama nursing licensure or eligible multi-state licensure, BCLS certification, and successful completion of a Perioperative RN program or prior circulating RN experience. Full-time 1st shift weekend coverage in Main OR and WC MH- OR.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
- Current Alabama nursing or eligible multi-state licensure
- BCLS (must be completed within the provisionary period)
- Successfully completed a Perioperative RN program
- Prior experience as a circulating RN
