Job Summary
Assess, monitor, administer medication, document progress, and manage overall care for highly acute and critical patients on the Critical Care Unit. Partner with an interdisciplinary team including attending physicians, critical care APPs, and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes. Advocate for patients and their loved ones through safety interventions, emotional support, and education. Maintain 1+ year of telemetry experience with the ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and read cardiac monitors. Hold a BSN degree, New York RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications. Located in Roslyn, NY, this role is part of a facility recognized as a national leader for Cardiology and Open Heart surgery.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in telemetry with ability to interpret cardiac rhythms
- Experience reading cardiac monitors
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
- New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) required from the American Heart Association
