Job Summary
The Registered Nurse Trauma RN Step Down PCU position requires a licensed registered nurse to deliver high-quality patient care in a trauma step-down unit. Responsibilities include partnering with a multidisciplinary team, optimizing patient care processes, staff scheduling, and providing coaching to staff, as well as maintaining key certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse Diploma or Associate Degree
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days
- NIH Stroke Scale certification within 6 months
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification within 6 months
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to coordinate and deliver high-quality patient-centered care
- Experience with admission and discharge processes
- Effective coaching and performance feedback skills
