RN - Charge Registered Nurse - Medical Intensive Care Unit - Nights

Coordinate unit staffing and provide leadership while ensuring implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care in the assigned area. Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during the shift, contributing to or performing performance evaluations. Assess daily patient care needs to develop and distribute assignments for adult and geriatric patients with complex medical needs in the 12-bed MICU. Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care and manage complaints through established channels. May provide input for hiring, training, directing, and evaluating staff. Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing with one year of cumulative job-specific experience is required. Full-time nights shift from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
