Job Summary
Coordinate unit staffing, assign and direct nursing staff, and monitor performance evaluations during your 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. night shift. Assess daily patient care needs for the 12-bed MICU, distribute assignments, and evaluate care effectiveness to identify issues affecting patient outcomes. Respond to patient care complaints through established channels and provide input on hiring, training, and staff development. Requires current Alabama RN licensure, BLS certification within 30 days, and one year of clinical experience.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- 1 year of cumulative job specific experience
Desired Qualifications
- ACLS and PALS certification
