RN - Charge Registered Nurse - Medical Intensive Care Unit - Nights

Coordinate unit staffing and provide leadership while ensuring implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care in the assigned area. Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during the shift, contributing to or performing performance evaluations. Assess daily patient care needs to develop and distribute assignments for adult and geriatric patients with complex medical needs, evaluating care effectiveness to identify issues affecting outcomes. Respond to complaints about patient care through established channels and provide input for hiring, training, and staff development. Requires current Alabama RN licensure, BLS certification within 30 days, and one year of cumulative job-specific experience. Full-time night shift (7p-7a) at UAB St. Vincent's East MICU.
