Job Summary
Assign, direct, and monitor nursing and support staff during assigned night shifts while assessing daily patient care needs and distributing assignments. Collaborate with advanced practice providers to ensure quality outcomes and evaluate the effectiveness of patient care to identify issues affecting desired results. Manage patient care complaints through established channels and contribute to performance evaluations of staff. Provide input for hiring, training, and development as needed. Lead with compassion while maintaining a constant state of alertness in a safe manner. This role offers a predictable rhythm with every other weekends and no on-call requirements for the Women's Services unit at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
- One year of registered nurse experience
