Job Summary

Direct and oversee daily unit activities on night shifts, including making patient assignments, managing bed flow, and consulting with supervisors on resource availability. Conduct daily patient rounds to evaluate care quality, coordinate interdisciplinary rounds with physicians, and perform modified patient care assignments as needed. Monitor equipment inventory, participate in staffing planning for surges, and lead performance improvement initiatives to reduce re-admissions and adverse events. Serve as a preceptor for new grads and mentor team members while ensuring compliance with the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and WellStar's shared governance model.

Required Qualifications
