RN Charge Nurse

Greet and assess incoming patients, review resident charts for treatments and medication orders, and verify transportation requirements. Perform daily room rounds, administer prescribed medications, and ensure treatments are properly administered by nursing assistants. Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as needed while maintaining daily census reports and filing all required electronic and paper forms. Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants, lead staff development, and conduct weekly audits of medication rooms and refrigerators. Notify physicians immediately of any accidents, incidents, or changes in resident status.
