Job Summary
RN Charge Nurse supervises the day-to-day nursing activities of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in accordance with company standards, administers medications and treatments per physician orders, and represents the nursing department during Interdisciplinary Care Plan meetings. Responsible for coordinating resident care, directing CNA assignments, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining quality standards. Requires supervising CNAs, participating in quality assurance and staff development, and ensuring safe, efficient delivery of nursing services within a long-term care setting in Ohio. Must hold a current Ohio RN license and nursing degree; EMR proficiency and prior supervisory experience are preferred. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Nursing degree from an accredited college, university or vocational school
- Current unencumbered license for the state of Ohio to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
