Job Summary
Coordinate unit staffing, direct and monitor nursing staff, and distribute patient care assignments during the 7pm to 7am night shift. Assess daily patient needs, evaluate care effectiveness, and manage patient care complaints through established channels. Contribute to performance evaluations and provide input on hiring and staff development. Requires current Alabama RN licensure, BLS certification within 30 days, and one year of cumulative job-specific experience. Required Qualifications
- Full-time Night shift -7pm-7am
- UAB St. Vincent's East- Trussville, Al.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
- ACLS and PALS may be reguired in some units (Step Down, ED and ICU) within 6-months of date hire or transfer
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing required
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing and professional licensure/certification required
- 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required
