Job Summary
Coordinate unit staffing, assign, direct, and monitor nursing and support staff during the 7pm-7am night shift. Assess daily patient care needs, develop care assignments, and evaluate the effectiveness of patient care to ensure desired outcomes. Manage patient care complaints through established channels and contribute to or perform performance evaluations of staff. Provide input for hiring, training, directing, and evaluating of staff. Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing with one year of cumulative job-specific experience is required. Required Qualifications
- Full-time Night shift -7pm-7am
- UAB St. Vincent's East- Trussville, Al.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
- ACLS and PALS
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- professional licensure/certification
- 1 year of cumulative job specific experience
