Job Summary
Coordinate unit staffing, assign, direct, and monitor nursing and support staff during the 7pm to 7am night shift. Assess daily patient care needs, develop care assignments, and evaluate care effectiveness to ensure population-appropriate outcomes. Manage patient care complaints through established channels and contribute to performance evaluations and staff development input. Requires current Alabama RN licensure, BLS certification within 30 days, and one year of cumulative job-specific experience. Required Qualifications
- Full-time Night shift -7pm-7am
- UAB St. Vincent's East- Trussville, Al.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
- ACLS and PALS
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- professional licensure/certification
- 1 year of cumulative job specific experience
