Job Summary
RN Charge Nurse in Medical Oncology, full-time, providing comprehensive nursing care to acutely ill oncology patients, delegating and coordinating nursing care, ensuring medication safety and rights, developing individualized care plans with patient/family involvement, educating patients and families, collaborating with physicians and the care team, performing nursing assessments, addressing pain management, facilitating discharge planning, and contributing to Utilization Review processes. Requires BSN, Illinois RN license, and CPR/BLS; MSN preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Illinois
- CPR – Basic Life Support
