Job Summary
Charge Nurse Leader responsible for the assessment, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of safe, effective, patient-centered care during the assigned shift. Facilitates, precepts, and mentors staff to grow professionally and enhance knowledge and skills. Collaborates with clinical and nonclinical teams to coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges; ensures resources meet unit needs; maintains professionalism, regulatory compliance, standards of practice, and accountability for safe, competent care and continual improvement. Reports to Clinical Nurse Manager. Requires a Bachelor’s degree within 3 years of hire, active Ohio RN licensure, minimum 1 year clinical nursing experience, and CPR/ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC as required by unit; work hours include day or night shifts with weekend commitment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required within 3 years of hire
- Registered Nurse; Current RN licensure in the state of Ohio
- Minimum of 1 years clinical nursing experience
- CPR required ACLS, PALS, NRP TNCC per unit requirement (If required and not current must be obtained within 6 months of employment)
