Job Summary
Coordinate unit staffing, assign and direct nursing staff, and monitor performance during assigned shifts. Assess daily patient care needs, distribute assignments, and evaluate care effectiveness to ensure population-appropriate outcomes. Manage patient care complaints through established channels and contribute to hiring, training, and development decisions. Requires current Alabama RN licensure, BLS certification within 30 days, and one year of cumulative job-specific experience. Full-time rotating weekend nights schedule at UAB St. Vincent's St Clair-Pell City, Al.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted certification for BLS
- ACLS and PALS certification
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- Professional licensure/certification
- 1 year of cumulative job specific experience
