Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care and clinical oversight for residents while supervising nursing staff and CNAs during assigned shifts. Monitor resident conditions, communicate changes to physicians and interdisciplinary team members, and administer medications and treatments according to physician orders. Ensure accurate documentation of resident care and maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and facility policies. Serve as a clinical leader and resource for nursing staff to promote a safe, resident-centered environment. This role operates on a 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM shift at HMR Veteran's Services, dedicated to providing exceptional care to veterans.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program or approved Registered Nurse (RN) program
- Current, active, and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
Desired Qualifications
- Previous RN Charge Nurse experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting
- Strong leadership, clinical assessment, and communication skills
- Commitment to delivering exceptional, compassionate care to residents
