Job Summary
Assign, direct, and monitor nursing and support staff during assigned shifts while assessing daily patient care needs and distributing assignments. Collaborate with advanced practice providers to ensure quality outcomes and evaluate the effectiveness of patient care. Contribute to or perform performance evaluations of staff and manage complaints through established channels. Provide input for hiring, training, and developing personnel. Maintain a constant state of alertness and safe manner while performing other duties as assigned. This role involves leadership and coordination of unit staffing at MO-SSM Health DePaul Hospital, offering a night shift schedule from 7P–7A with varying days.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
- One year registered nurse experience
