Job Summary
Direct and oversee daily unit activities across orthopedics, neuro, surgical, and trauma floors to ensure safe patient care delivery. Make patient assignments, manage bed flow, and round with physicians while coordinating discharge reviews and emergency services operations. Lead interdisciplinary rounds, manage equipment inventory, and drive performance improvement initiatives aligned with shared governance models. Serve as a clinical resource for staff development and physician collaboration, ensuring compliance with Georgia Nurse Practice Act standards.
Required Qualifications
- RN licensure
- Knowledge of the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act
- Implementation of the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standards put forth by the American Nurses Association
