Job Summary
Direct daily unit activities by making patient assignments, reviewing discharge lengths of stay, and rounding with physicians to manage census and bed flow. Lead interdisciplinary rounds, coordinate staff schedules, and ensure equipment inventory meets clinical needs while overseeing the nursing process and documentation. Provide peer coaching, mentor new grads, and drive performance improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and evidence-based practice. Serve as a resource for operational functionality and facility awareness within the Wellstar Shared Governance Model.
