Job Summary
Deliver professional nursing care in compliance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. Assess patient conditions, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, record observations, and delegate tasks to support unit goals. Provide night shift coverage from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am with rotating weekends and holidays as part of the Central Resource Team. Requires one year of inpatient RN experience, current Illinois licensure, CPR, and ACLS certification. Full-time 36-hour schedule with premium pay and comprehensive benefits including tuition reimbursement and retirement matching.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Nursing
- 1+ years' of RN experience in an inpatient unit setting
- Associate Degree or higher in Nursing
- Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
- Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or Basic Life Support
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within one year of start date into position
- Night shift 7:00 pm-7:30 am rotating weekends & rotating holidays
Desired Qualifications
- If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date
