Job Summary
Registered Nurse – Central Resource Team on the night shift at Elmhurst Hospital. Provides professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. Utilizes critical thinking to assess patients, recognizes changes in condition, plans and evaluates care, monitors progress, and records observations. Delegates appropriate patient-care tasks to staff and functions as a team member to meet unit goals. Night schedule: 7pm–7:30am, full-time with a 36-hour week. Requires a state RN license, CPR, and ACLS within one year. Education requirements include ADN with BSN within five years or a BSN (or higher) per preferred qualifications; 1+ years of inpatient RN experience. Required Qualifications
- Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
- Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or Basic Life Support
- ACLS within one year of start date into position
- Bachelor?s Degree or higher in Nursing OR Associate Degree or higher in Nursing (with BSN within five years if ADN highest)
- Requires 1+ years' of RN experience in an inpatient unit setting
