Job Summary
Circulate and scrub cardiac diagnostic and percutaneous coronary interventional (PCI) procedures, admitting and recovering pre- and post-cath patients. Perform hemostasis and provide direct nursing care with full accountability for assigned patients. Supervise and direct the activities of Patient Care Associates and Cath Lab Assistants while cross-training in hemodynamic monitoring. On-call rotation required. Join St. Francis Hospital's state-of-the-art cardiac center, which performs one of the largest volumes of percutaneous coronary interventions in the nation.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of BSN program
- NYS Nurses License
- 2 years Critical Care Experience
- 2 years critical experience required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) required from the American Heart Association
- On call required
