Job Summary
Greet patients, operate clinical equipment with safety checks, and maintain care areas for malfunctioning issues. Collect, prepare, and process laboratory specimens while tracking results and performing quality control for waived testing. Respond to care questions or complaints, document unresolved issues, and refer to appropriate parties for resolution. Maintain aseptic techniques and infection control principles during clinical duties. Requires current NYS RN license, BLS, and ACLS certification, plus two years of experience in a physicians practice or ambulatory environment. Located in East Hills, NY, with a salary range of $39.08 to $63.21 per hour. Catholic Health offers tuition assistance and a defined benefit pension plan.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree from an accredited RN program
- Bachelor's degree
- Current NYS RN License
- BLS training and current certification
- ACLS current certification
- Minimum of two years of experience as an RN in a physicians practice or ambulatory environment or previous related experience
- Ability to work with Electronic Health records, Practice Management and Scheduling system
- Must be able to function effectively in a busy outpatient clinical setting
