Job Summary
Circulate and scrub cardiac diagnostic and percutaneous coronary interventional (PCI) procedures, admitting and recovering pre- and post-cath patients. Perform hemostasis while providing direct nursing care and assuming accountability for assigned patients. Supervise and direct Patient Care Associates and Cath Lab Assistants. Cross-train to hemodynamic monitoring as required. On-call rotation is mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of BSN program
- NYS Nurses License
- 2 years Critical Care Experience
- 2 years critical experience required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) required from the American Heart Association
- On call required
