Job Summary
Manage clinical workflows and coordinate care for providers in an ambulatory setting by reviewing lab results, communicating findings to patients, and ensuring timely follow-up. Actively monitor the EHR inbasket to respond to patient messages, refill requests, and provider communications while performing phone and electronic triage to assess concerns and prioritize needs. Provide limited in-person clinical support, such as administering injections, only when necessary. Requires a current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and two years of experience in a physicians practice or ambulatory environment. Base salary ranges from $39.08 to $63.21 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree from an accredited RN program
- Current NYS RN License
- BLS training and current certification
- ACLS current certification
- Minimum of two years of experience as an RN in a physicians practice or ambulatory environment or previous related experience
- Ability to work with Electronic Health records, Practice Management and Scheduling system
- Must be able to function effectively in a busy outpatient clinical setting
