Provide direct nursing care for specified patients, including supportive care and administration of chemotherapy, blood components, fluid and electrolyte replacements, and other oncology treatments as prescribed. Perform nursing assessments and triage of patient care needs for new and ongoing patients. Provide education and support to patients, families, and significant others while acting as an information resource to students, health care professionals, and the public. Follow established departmental policies, procedures, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and infection control standards. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Requires New York RN licensure, BSN degree, and Oncology, BLS, and ACLS certifications. Located in Roslyn, NY.
