Job Summary
Conduct nursing care for patients in all settings while collaborating with healthcare providers and acting as a patient advocate for safe care delivery. Manage delegation of care and participate in performance and practice improvement activities. Maintain professional development within the legal scope of practice. Requires Ohio RN licensure, BLS certification, and ACLS/NRP/PALS as determined by unit scope. Bachelor of Science in nursing preferred. Kettering Health is a not-for-profit system of 14 medical centers serving southwest Ohio, prioritizing patient safety and exceptional care.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (NLN, ACEN, or CCNE) if they are a new graduate nurse
- Bachelor of Science in nursing preferred (must be completed within 5 years of hire)
- BLS certification
- ACLS, NRP, PALS as determined by unit scope of practice
