Job Summary
Conduct Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology nursing for 10-hour accountability, organizing patient care for conscious sedation procedures (ASA1/ASA2) across Peri-OP, Nursing, and Endoscopy. Perform hourly rounding, administer vasoactive and emergency medications, and troubleshoot hemodynamic monitoring equipment. Assist with intubation, manage coagulation, and interpret diagnostic data including pressure wires and EKGs. Re-establish hemodynamic stability in shock states and admit/recover patients per policy. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and communicate condition changes. Float to support other clinical departments as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or related Bachelor of Healthcare degree
- Minimum of one (1) year of clinical nursing experience in Telemetry or Critical Care (ICU, PACU, ER) nursing
- Minimum of six (6) months Cardiac Cath Lab experience
- Current California Registered Nursing license
- BCLS and ACLS certification
- Adult moderate sedation class
- Upholds professional appearance and demonstrates such through adherence to dress code
- Wears hospital I.D. badge
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in CRN or CCRN
- Bilingual skills (Spanish)
- Electronic Medical Record experience
