Job Summary
Coordinate and implement care for adult patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab as circulator, scrub, or monitor. Ensure patient safety by performing hemostasis safely, administering medications with critical judgment, and reporting abnormal information to the physician. Manage procedural logistics by entering orders and charges, verifying accuracy, and prepping patients for procedures. Provide education to patients and families regarding tests, treatments, and perioperative expectations. Maintain constant alertness while performing point-of-care testing and escorting families to appropriate areas.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
