Job Summary
Conduct professional nursing care in the cath lab under the ANA scope of practice, utilizing the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs. Deliver quality care across the pre, intra, and post lab continuum while partnering with families to personalize care plans and incorporate their input into discharge strategies. Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to meet core measures, quality matrix standards, and patient experience expectations. Requires one year of acute care or cath lab experience, BLS and ACLS certification, and a BSN within four years of hire. Full-time day shift with on-call weekends at Grosse Pointe Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Diploma, A.D.N., B.S.N., M.S.N., DNP/PhD
- RN - State of Michigan
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross
- Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association
- 1 year of relevant experience
- Minimum of one (1) year acute care experience
- Required Critical Care, Cath Lab, or Procedural/OR experience
