Job Summary
RN Clinical Nurse in Hospice at WellStar in Roswell, GA. Responsible for coordinating safe, high-quality patient care using the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, implementation, evaluation) in an interdisciplinary team. Provides relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations, with emphasis on family/significant other participation and clear communication. Works within WellStar governance and evidence-based practice models, supports performance improvement and shared governance, and serves as a preceptor/mentor to staff and students. Requires BSN, RN licensure (GA or multi-state compact), BLS, and at least 10 years of direct patient care experience; proficient in documentation, IT utilization, and delivering care in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Located in Roswell, GA with in-person work arrangements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing
- All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated
- Current RN licensure (Georgia license or COMPACT multi-state license)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 10 years of direct patient care experience
- Ability to read, write and speak English; strong interpersonal and collaboration skills; ability to function in fast-paced environment; strong critical thinking
