Job Summary
RN Clinical Nurse in Hospice role at Wellstar; coordinates care through an interdisciplinary team to deliver individualized, high-quality patient care; practices using evidence-based standards; participates in interdisciplinary rounds, bedside shift reports, and patient education; serves as preceptor/mentor to staff and students; emphasizes performance improvement, research utilization, and adherence to regulatory standards (TJC Patient Safety Goals) within a Wellstar governance and practice framework; location Smyrna, GA, with in-person care responsibilities and a focus on compassionate, patient-centered nursing in a hospice setting.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing with BSN
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensed to practice in Georgia or Nurse Compact (multi-state) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to read, write and speak English; strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- 10 years of direct patient care experience (as per posted requirements)
