RN Case Manager / per-diem

Job Summary
RN Case Manager to review patient records and determine medical necessity for admission/continued stay using InterQual criteria; coordinate, negotiate, and procure services and resources for complex patients; provide clinically-based case management, discharge planning, and care coordination to facilitate quality and cost-efficient outcomes; collaborate with interdisciplinary staff; supports a minimum 32-hour schedule with at least 16 hours (in 2 shifts) during night/weekends and includes one major holiday; location: Scituate, MA; required RN license with Bachelor’s-prepared preferred; CCM/ACM certification target within two years; experience in acute care hospital settings and strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications
- RN - Registered Nurse
- ACM-Accredited Case Manager or CCM-Certified Case Manager within two years of hire
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
- 3-5 years acute care hospital experience preferred
- Critical Care or Emergency Department experience highly desirable
