Job Summary
Provide home-based care to patients with illnesses, injuries, and chronic diseases, often after hospital or rehab discharge. Examine patients, document progress, and report changes to physicians while coordinating discharge from services. Work with a team of physicians to oversee LPNs, CNAs, and aides, and educate patients and family members on care plans, medications, and home safety. Ensure goals are met and direct your own day with flexible assignments and autonomy. Interim HealthCare of West Michigan is expanding Skilled Home Health Services into the Kalamazoo area. This salaried position offers $75k-$100k with weekly bonuses, health benefits, and an ESOP. Requires an active Michigan RN license, one year of clinical experience, and CPR certification.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) with active, unrestricted license in the State of Michigan
- At least one (1) year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse
- Current CPR Certification
- Reliable transportation with a valid state driver's license
- Current car insurance
