Job Summary
Integrate health care for clients from pre-admission to post-discharge by coordinating and sequencing care through clinical, financial, and utilization data. Evaluate outcomes, monitor patient responses, and utilize independent nursing judgment across neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. Communicate with patients, families, and the health care team while controlling variances and demonstrating fiscal responsibility. Document clearly, solve problems, and establish priorities with strong organizational skills. Work primarily day hours with scheduled weekends and occasional evenings, earning a salary between $36.50 and $51.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Depending on location, a valid drivers license may be required
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing strongly preferred
- Minimum of two years' clinical experience preferred
