Job Summary
Conduct nursing visits including STI testing, injections, BP checks, and point-of-care lab tests while performing medication administration and triage. Coordinate patient care by arranging transportation, managing referrals, and establishing treatment schedules. Provide patient education on preventive health, medication adherence, and pediatric milestones. Maintain patient confidentiality, ensure infection control compliance, and organize exam rooms. Perform annual staff evaluations and monitor clinical team performance. Requires BLS certification, 3-5 years case management experience, and ability to drive for local or out-of-state travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science or Associate degree in Nursing
- Current RN Louisiana license
- 3-5 years case management experience
- Prior infectious disease experience
- Prior behavioral health experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Ability to stand
- Ability to sit
- Ability to talk
- Ability to hear
- Ability to use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard
- Ability to reach
- Close vision requirements
- Light to moderate lifting
- Ability to work in a confined area
- Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time
